The ANREV Research Award, first launched in 2026, is ANREV's annual academic prize recognising outstanding student research in the field of institutional real estate investment within the Asia Pacific region. The award aims to generate new, high-quality research relevant to ANREV members, strengthen the links between academia and industry, and create a merit-based platform for recognising academic excellence.

Open to Bachelor's and taught Master's students from selected universities in Asia Pacific, the award is judged by a panel of ANREV Research Committee members and industry practitioners. The winning paper is selected based on its topic relevance, originality, methodological rigour, and clarity. The winning student receives a USD 10,000 prize, a complimentary ticket to the ANREV Annual Conference, and the opportunity to present their research to industry leaders.
