The ANREV Young Professionals Committee together with the Technology & Innovation Committee are pleased to announce that registration is now open for a regional hybrid briefing, 'The AI playbook for the next generation of real estate', taking place both in person and online on 25 August 2026.
This session will explore how AI is transforming the real estate industry, drawing on the latest insights from Yardi's AI survey, live demonstrations of AI solutions, and case studies from Qualitas and GLP. A panel discussion will examine AI adoption, practical applications, implementation challenges, and opportunities across the investment lifecycle, followed by an audience online & offline Q&A and networking drinks (for the all Hong Kong participants).

Terry Zeng is a technology executive with over 14 years of experience driving digital transformation across real estate, private equity, and fund management. As SVP of Global Digital Technology at GLP, he leads global ERP and digital transformation solutions.
Terry has extensive hands-on experience in real estate and financial management solutions, having led Yardi and SAP implementations across APAC real estate and logistics portfolios. A passionate AI advocate, he has a proven track record of delivering over multiple high-impact AI use cases spanning intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and GenAI-powered workflows.
Prior to GLP, he held leadership roles at CapitaLand and Blackstone's Revantage Asia, driving process improvement and heading enterprise solutions.
He holds a master’s degree in computer science and is a Singapore Chartered Accountant.
Michael leads Qualitas artificial intelligence transformation as Chief AI Transformation Officer, responsible for the systematic and strategic integration of AI capability across the firm's operations. With over 20 years of experience at the intersection of quantitative finance and applied artificial intelligence, he brings a rare combination of deep financial services expertise and technical knowledge in designing and deploying intelligent systems.
Prior to joining Qualitas in 2025, Michael was the founder and CEO of Evolved AI, a consultancy helping asset managers and financial institutions navigate AI adoption from strategy through to implementation. Before that, he held senior roles at AXA Investment Managers in London as Chief Strategist for AI and Quantitative Strategies, and earlier as a Quantitative Portfolio Manager at Fidelity International and an Associate in Risk and Quantitative Analysis at BlackRock. Michael holds a PhD in Finance from the London School of Economics and has served as a lecturer at Imperial College London and an Honorary Academic at the Australian National University. He is also the author of Future Ready with Generative AI.
With 30+ years’ experience dedicated to real estate and technology, Bernie is a leader in digital transformation in real estate and using data to create a more competitive and collaborative environment. Currently responsible for the growth of Yardi Systems in Asia Pacific, Bernie lives in Hong Kong and is a qualified accountant and economist.
He supports real estate clients with Retail, Commercial, Industrial, Residential and Mixed-Use assets, helping them to grow their operations, create efficiencies, and gain better insight into their business. His expertise includes asset and investment management, private equity, operations improvement, program and project management, finance, technology implementation and compliance.
Bernie has led large-scale technology projects, as well as led and supported Proptech start-ups, across Australia, the USA, Middle East, Asia and Europe. He has over 60 publications to his name, and extensive public speaking experience. He is actively working with several charities focused on the marine environment and child education in Hong Kong and China.
Clarissa Watt is a Senior Associate in the investment funds team of King & Wood. She specialises in the formation of funds and fund investments, advising fund managers as well as institutional investors across a range of asset classes, including real estate, infrastructure, private equity and venture capital. Clarissa is qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong.
