Charles Haase
Chief Executive
ANREV

Charles Haase became Chief Executive of ANREV in 2022. Before joining ANREV, Haase was responsible for global client relationship management with Aetos Japan, LLC. Prior to that he was with Tokyu Fudosan Holdings Corporation in Tokyo, working on overseas investments for Tokyu Land Corporation and on inbound investment for Tokyu Livable, Inc. Before coming to Tokyo, Haase was a real estate investment officer with the California State Teachers' Retirement System, and served on the economics faculty at San Francisco State University. Haase has a Ph.D. in economics from University of California at Davis.

Shaowei Toh
Director, Head of Research & Strategy, Asia Pacific
Savills Investment Management

Shaowei is an investment strategist based in Singapore. He directs and coordinates the research agenda for the region, and provides an Asia Pacific perspective into our global investment and growth strategies. Shaowei also leads the development of market and investment theses and integrates strategic house views into the broader investment activities of the firm.

Shaowei joined from UBS Asset Management where he led the real estate research and strategy team in Asia Pacific from 2015 to 2021, with the responsibility as a voting member of the regional management and investment committees. He also has significant experience in strategic research and product development of real estate strategies across key markets and sectors in Asia Pacific. Before UBS, Shaowei headed up the research function for the China business of Capitaland, a leading global investment manager with more than USD 115 billion in AUM.
