ANREV Events Committee members Jae Choi of ARA Asset ManagementCharles Griffith of Savills Investment Management and Amélie Delaunay of ANREV will join Priyank and share their views.

Priyank Shah
Senior Director, Capital Markets Asia Pacific
JLL

Priyank Shah is Senior Director and part of the Asia Pacific Capital Markets team. Based in Singapore, he is directly responsible for cross-border investment transactions for global institutional investors looking to Asia.
 
Priyank works closely with regional and international teams to identify and educate investors – including large asset managers and capital sources – on the opportunities to invest in assets, funds, and partnerships. With almost 15 years of real estate capital markets experience, Priyank supports clients in achieving their strategic ambitions and ambitious growth targets.
 
Prior to working in real estate, Priyank was a derivatives dealer at Tullet Prebon where he managed the interest derivatives desk.
 
Priyank holds a Masters in Finance (CFA partner program) from the University of Stirling, UK and a Bachelors in Economics and Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Jae Choi
Head of Capital Markets
ARA Asset Management

Mr. Jae Choi is Head of Capital Markets. He is responsible for leading the global fundraising activities, structuring, and launching new investment funds and establishing and maintaining capital partnerships with global investors.

Mr. Choi has 25 years of experience in the banking and finance industry, particularly in private funds and asset management. He has extensive transactional and product development experience in various market cycles and across capital structures. Prior to joining ARA, he was Chief Operating Officer and Head of Investor Relations and Capital Markets at Forum Partners. Prior to that, he was Co-Founder of Asia Asset Partners, an alternative asset management company. Before Asia Asset Partners, Mr. Choi held senior positions in Blackstone in Hong Kong and Singapore, Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Singapore and GE Commercial Finance in Korea. Mr. Choi started his career in private practice with Allens in Sydney, followed by White & Case in Hong Kong.

Mr. Choi holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Economics, both from the University of Sydney, Australia.

Charles Griffith
Director of Business Development
Savills Investment Management

Charles Griffith is a Director for Business Development at Savills Investment Management, a global real estate investment management firm with c. US$27.1 billion of assets worldwide and a 30-year track record of providing clients with innovative solutions to meet their investment requirements.

With more than 15 years of experience in real estate and capital markets in Asia, Charles is responsible for capital raising and new product development across Asia Pacific to facilitate the next stage of Savills IM’s global growth.

Prior to moving to Singapore, Charles was a Vice President at New York-based Aetos Capital Real Estate. The graduate of Columbia Business School has also spent time working in Beijing and Hong Kong for JLL and Cushman & Wakefield.

Charles was the founding Chairperson of the ULI Singapore NEXT Committee from 2019-2021. Outside of real estate, his interests include adventuring with his family around Southeast Asia, speaking taxi-cab Mandarin, and playing lax for the Singapore Lacrosse Association.

Amélie Delaunay
Director of Research & Professional Standards
ANREV

Amélie Delaunay is the Director of Research and Professional Standards for ANREV. She is responsible for the development and implementation of ANREV’s Research, Performance Measurement and Professional Standards programmes in Asia Pacific, including market information and performance indices, global surveys and promotion of best practices for the industry.

Amélie has more than 19 years of experience in the real estate industry and a strong real estate consulting background initially with Ernst & Young. She has been based in Asia for more than 15 years.

Educated at the Sorbonne in Paris, where she was awarded a post graduate degree in Urban Geography, Town Planning and Real Estate, Amélie also has an Advanced Master's Degree in Urban and Real Estate Management from ESSEC Business School in Paris. Amélie is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
