ANREV is pleased to invite you to join our Shanghai launch of ANREV Investment Intentions Asia Survey 2022 on 24 February 2022. 

The 2022 ANREV/INREV/PREA Investment Intentions survey attracted 99 respondents in total including 91 institutional investors and 8 funds of funds managers. Ms. Amélie Delaunay of ANREV, Ms. Connie Peng of BlackRock, Mr. Edward Cheung of ACR, Ms. Jennifer Zhang of KaiLong, Mr. Wayne Chang & Mr. James Shepherd of Cushman & Wakefield will share with us the key highlights of the survey and lead the panel discussions on China.

This event will conclude with drinks.

Amélie Delaunay
Director of Research & Professional Standards
ANREV

Amélie Delaunay is the Director of Research and Professional Standards for ANREV. She is responsible for the development and implementation of ANREV’s Research, Performance Measurement and Professional Standards programmes in Asia Pacific, including market information and performance indices, global surveys and promotion of best practices for the industry.
 
Amélie has more than 19 years of experience in the real estate industry and a strong real estate consulting background initially with Ernst & Young. She has been based in Asia for more than 15 years.
 
Educated at the Sorbonne in Paris, where she was awarded a post graduate degree in Urban Geography, Town Planning and Real Estate, Amélie also has an Advanced Master's Degree in Urban and Real Estate Management from ESSEC Business School in Paris. Amélie is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Wayne Chang
Executive Director, Capital Markets, East China

Wayne serves as the Executive Director for Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets team in East China. With his 15 years of investment brokerage and fund management experience, culminating in a total transaction value of nearly RMB30 billion across 20 transactions, Wayne’s wealth of China investment knowledge and expertise has helped institutional investors, such as Warburg Pincus, Morgan Stanley, The Carlyle Group, and Lujiazui Group, to successfully acquire and/or to divest high-value assets. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Wayne held the position of Executive Director with KaiLong Group, responsible for portfolio management of the firm’s Greater China Real Estate Core Fund. Wayne graduated from UBC Sauder School with a specialization in Urban Land Planning, and is an active CCIM member.

Connie Peng
Director - Asia Real Estate

Connie Peng has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry and is a member of BlackRock's Asian Real Estate team being responsible for real estate investment activities in China.

Connie's service with the firm dates back to 2006, including her years with MGPA, which was acquired by BlackRock in 2013. During her tenure with the company, she has been responsible for a wide range of real estate related functions including acquisition, asset management and dispositions.

Connie earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from University of Technology in Sydney, Australia.

Edward Cheung
Founder & Chairman
ACR Asset Management

Edward has over 30 years of real estate experience having started his real estate career 1987.

In 1997, he was appointed as the General Manager for C.Y. Leung & Co in Shanghai and later in 2007, he was appointed as the CEO for mainland China for DTZ which subsequently merged with Cushman & Wakefield. He was appointed as Chairman of Asia Pacific Board and CEO of Greater China.

More recently Edward founded real estate private equity management company — ACR Asset Management. This platform specializes in exploring real estate with a promising future and strong investment value, and provides comprehensive investment management and asset management.

Edward is a fellow of the RICS, the Honorary Chairman of the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, the Chairman of Shanghai Hong Kong Association and a Shanghai representative of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

Jennifer Zhang
Executive Director, Investment & Business Development
KaiLong Group

Jennifer Zhang is focusing on real estate investment opportunities in Mainland China. Since joining KaiLong in 2011 as an analyst, she has been involved in most of KaiLong's acquisitions and played critical roles for transactions in over RMB 6.0 billion. Her underwriting experience covers office buildings, business parks, retail malls and logistic portfolios of various investment strategies.

James Shepherd

James leads Cushman & Wakefield’s Greater China Business Development Services team of more than 50 research and marketing experts that drive Cushman & Wakefield’s regular market research, thought leadership programs and marketing operations. The team is extremely successful and has won a variety of accolades in recent years, including Asia Pacific Property Awards 2021 Best Property Agency / Consultancy, and RICS China 2021 Research Team of the Year, while also supporting the firm’s other impressive awards successes. James has dealt with all major property types and benefits from 25 years of real estate industry experience, having previously specialized in research and real estate due diligence across China. He has also conducted research, consultancy, valuation, fair value, and impairment testing in a previous role as senior director in Ernst & Young’s transaction real estate team in China.
