The Farmland Committee is focused on promoting agriculture investment as an investable asset class, as well as bringing transparency to the Australian farmland performance with the ANREV Australia Farmland Index. Members of the Committee are the institutional agricultural investment managers, who are the supporting data contributors to this Index.

The ANREV Australia Farmland Index is the first quarterly index in the history of Australian agriculture which provides the returns of institutional grade farmland assets on both an income and capital growth basis. Set up in 2015 by NCREIF, the Index uses the same methodology as that used for the U.S. Farmland Index launched in 1990. The Index has been handed over to ANREV in 2020 and is published 10 weeks after each quarter end.
