The Global Open End Diversified Core Equity Real Estate Fund Index (Global ODCE) is jointly produced by INREV, ANREV and NCREIF, and is the latest in a suite of global indices aimed at enhancing the transparency of the non-listed real estate investment industry. The new consultation index focuses on open end diversified core equity funds across all three global regions.
The Global ODCE is updated on a quarterly basis and published 10 weeks following the quarter end.
The Global ODCE Index reflects the growing need for data on a global scale as investor appetite for globally diversified real estate portfolios gathers momentum.

ANREV, INREV and NCREIF present the twelfth edition of the Global ODCE (open end diversified core equity) fund index, consisting of 49 funds with a combined total gross asset value of US$348.6 billion.

The Global ODCE fund index delivered a net total return of 0.42% in Q4 2025, down 3 bps from Q3.

European ODCE funds outperformed the other regions, posting a total return of 1.12%, followed by the US with 0.70%, then Asia Pacific with -0.57%.

Capital growth remained negative for the second consecutive quarter, with -0.34%, up by 4 bps from the previous quarter. While the accrual-based income return decreased by 8 bps, delivering 0.75%.

Key highlights:
- The Global ODCE fund index delivered a net total return of 0.45% in Q2 2025, down from 2.18% in the previous quarter.

Key highlights include:- The Q3 2024 Global ODCE Index reported a net total return of 1.99%, marking the first positive performance since Q2 2022. On a 1-year rolling annual basis the total return stands at -3.17%.

ANREV, INREV and NCREIF present the sixth edition of the Global ODCE (Open End Diversified Core Equity) Fund Consultation Index, consisting of 49 funds with a combined total gross asset value of US$ 349.7 billion.
Key highlights include:- The Q2 2024 Global ODCE reported a net total return of -0.97%, marking the eighth consecutive quarter of negative performance. On a 1-year rolling annual basis the total return stands at -7.36%.
- Europe outperformed the other regions, posting the only positive returns with 0.19%, followed by the US with -0.66%, and -2.43% in Asia Pacific. All regions saw a quarter-on-quarter increase in performance.
- On a five-year annualized basis, the Global ODCE Index shows an aggregated total return of 1.49%. The US posted the highest annualized total return of 2.27%, followed by Asia Pacific with 1.83%, and 0.04% in Europe.
- At 0.77% in Q2, the accrual-based income return reached its highest level in three years. On a 1-year rolling annual basis, the income return stands at 3.05%.

Key highlights include:- The Q1 2024 Global ODCE reported a net total return of -2.35%, marking the seventh consecutive quarter of negative performance. On a 1-year rolling annual basis the total return stands at -9.01%.
- Europe outperformed the other regions with a total return of -0.56%, followed by the US with -2.58%, and -3.90% in Asia Pacific. Other than Asia Pacific, all regions saw a quarter-on-quarter increase in performance.
- On a five-year annualized basis, the Global ODCE Index shows an aggregated total return of 1.94%. Asia Pacific posted the highest annualized total return of 2.73%, followed by the US with 2.56%, and 0.19% in Europe.

Key highlights include:- The Q4 2023 Global ODCE reported a total return of -1.81%, marking the sixth consecutive quarter of negative performance. Asia Pacific outperformed the other regions with a total return of 3.83%, followed by Europe with -4.28%, and -5.00% in the US.
- On a five-year annualised basis, the Global ODCE Index shows an aggregated total return of 2.68%. Asia Pacific showed the highest annualized total return of 3.88%, the US posted 3.34%, while Europe delivered 0.52%.
- Other than Asia Pacific, all regions recorded a quarter-on-quarter decrease in performance.

Key highlights include:- The Q3 2023 Global ODCE reported a total return of -2.43%, marking the fifth consecutive quarter of negative performance. The US outperformed the other regions with a total return of -2.10%, followed by Europe with -2.55%, and -2.64% in Asia Pacific.
- On a five-year annualised basis, the Global ODCE Index shows an aggregated total return of 3.35%. The US showed the highest annualized total return of 4.72%, Asia Pacific posted 3.40%, while Europe delivered 1.67%.
- Other than Europe, all regions recorded a quarter-on-quarter increase in performance.
