Yian Wang is the Chief Investment Officer for AEW Asia Pacific, responsible for overseeing all of AEW’s commingled and direct investments in the Asia Pacific. Ms. Wang plays an integral part within the firm’s Senior Leadership Team, actively contributing to AEW’s overall strategic vision and direction. She is also a member of the AEW Asia Pacific Investment and Risk Management Committees. Based in Hong Kong, she has extensive portfolio and asset management experience across the different Asian markets in which AEW invests. Ms. Wang has worked in both Mainland China and Hong Kong with prior investment management roles including Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing and Hongkong Land, a subsidiary of Jardine Matheson Group. She graduated with First Class Honors from the University of Cambridge and has an M.A., M. Eng and B.A. in Chemical Engineering and was a recipient of the prestigious Jardine Scholarship. 

Helen Petruch is a Vice President at GIC with 10 years of relevant industry experience. She is responsible for Pan-Asia real estate investments within GIC, focusing on co-investments, funds, and secondaries. Prior to joining GIC, Helen worked in investment banking roles covering infrastructure and real estate with Nomura and HSBC. She holds Bachelors in Actuarial Science and Commerce from the University of New South Wales.

Elynn Teo is the Chief Financial Officer for Aquilius and a member of the Board of Directors with over 23 years of relevant industry experience. She is responsible for all financial and operational aspects of the business. Prior to Aquilius, Ms. Teo worked at GIC for 3 years and was the Global Head of Finance & Accounting providing investment support for the private markets investment group. Prior to GIC, she worked at Blackstone for 6 years and Avenue Capital Group for 5 years. Ms. Teo is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Evelyn Tan is a Partner at Aquilius and a member of the Board of Directors with over 18 years of relevant industry experience. She is responsible for the firm’s Real Estate Primaries Investments and leading strategic projects including Human Capital, Public Relations and ESG. Prior to Aquilius, Mrs. Tan worked at Partners Group for 15 years where she was the Head of Private Real Estate Integrated Investments, overseeing investments in primaries, secondaries and co-investments in the region. Mrs. Tan holds a Master of Science degree in business administration from Justus Liebig University, Germany.
