After joining Mitsui Fudosan in 1985, he was assigned to land acquisition in Japan for the Mitsui Garden Hotel and was stationed in Los Angeles, U.S. He was involved in the launch of Nippon Building Fund, the first listed REIT in Japan, in the late 1990s. In the 2000s, after the REIT was listed, Mitsui Fudosan launched an epoch-making value-added private fund that converted an office building in Ginza into a hotel (Mercure Hotel Ginza). In the field of urban development and city planning, he was a key member of the Shiodome City Center Project, Japan's first large-scale mixed-use development with foreign investors, and more recently, he was responsible for the Tokyo Cross Park Project (Hibiya Uchisaiwaicho Redevelopment Project), which includes Hibiya Park and the Imperial Hotel. In the corporate sector, he has served as Executive Manager of the Finance Group,General Manager of the Human Resources Department, and General Manager of the Strategy Planning and Administration Department of the Office Building Division. Furthermore, he was stationed in New York during the global finance crisis and served as President and CEO of Mitsui Fudosan America, Inc. He has held his current position since April 1, 2023.
Yuki Nishiyama is a member of the Capability Specialists team for the Real Estate & Private Markets business, part of UBS Asset Management (UBS-AM). Yuki joined UBS-AM in July, 2019, and is based in Japan. She currently plays an active role doing performance reporting updates and RFP for both existing and potential clients.
Before her current position with UBS, Yuki spent several years in the Finance team at DWS based in Tokyo, focused on regional management and regulatory reporting. Prior to this, she worked at SMBC Nikko Securities , handling the launching of new mutual funds for retail investors and performing enhanced marketing activities.
Yuki is a CMA (Certificate-holder Member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan).
