Sasanka has served as Head of Research for the seven years and is responsible for the group’s research requirements across transactions, investor relations, reporting, and product development.
Prior to joining Charter Hall, he was Head of Industrial Research at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL). During his tenure at JLL, he advised both external clients and the firm’s national investment and asset management teams. In addition, he led a wide range of consultancy‑based projects and authored numerous research publications. He was also an active contributor to JLL’s research subscription and thought‑leadership platforms.
Earlier in his career, Sasanka worked in property development, where he was involved in major projects for several institutional investors and private equity funds. He has also held roles at Colliers International and the WINIM Group.
Sasanka holds a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University and a Master of Property Development from the University of Technology Sydney. He is also an invited lecturer at the University of New South Wales and the University of Technology Sydney.
Katya Ezhova is a Research Analyst at CBRE, specialising in retail, hospitality (hotels and pubs) assets, as well as infrastructure spending. In her current role, she provides market insights and analysis that support strategic investment decisions, with a strong understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals and evolving market dynamics.
Prior to joining CBRE, Katya built extensive experience in hotel advisory and asset management, contributing to feasibility studies, operator selection, financial underwriting and investment support. She also brings a unique perspective from her background in the venture capital sector.
Katya holds a Bachelor of Economics from the Financial University under the Russian Government (cum laude) and a Master of Financial Management from Bond University, where she graduated with a first-in-class award in Investments.
