Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Master’s degree in Asset Management from National University of Singapore. Brings over 20 years of experience in real estate investment and management. Currently heads Real Estate Investment at AIA Life Insurance, and previously served as Head of China Real Estate at Invesco and Vice President of Real Estate Investment at GIC.
Charles Haase is Chief Executive of ANREV, the Asian Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles. ANREV is a member driven non-profit organization producing research and indices relevant to the private real estate industry in Asia Pacific, and promoting improved transparency and best practices across the region.
Prior to joining ANREV, Charlie had experience on both sides of the investment table, working for Aetos Japan and Tokyu Fudosan Holdings Corporation in Tokyo, and for the California State Teachers’ Retirement System in the United States. Prior to joining CalSTRS, Charlie was on the Economics faculty of San Francisco State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Davis.
John Zheng is the Head of Capital Markets for CapitaLand Investment (CLI) China. He is responsible for raising Chinese capital to support CLI’s business initiatives in China and in other parts of Asia.
John has over 16 years of experience in real estate acquisition, debt financing and equity capital raising in Asia and Europe. Prior to joining CLI, John Zheng worked at Tishman Speyer since 2010 and was responsible for sourcing equity capital for Tishman Speyer’s projects in China as well as the US and Europe. He was closely involved in the launch of the Tishman Speyer’s RMB Fund platform and its subsequent growth.
Before his tenure at Tishman Speyer, John was part of the real estate finance team at Merrill Lynch (now part of Bank of America) in London, where he was responsible for originating commercial mortgage loans across Europe.
John holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the London School of Economics and Politics Sciences (LSE) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Tze Shyang is CEO, CLI (China), responsible for driving the growth and management of the company’s investments, capital raising, fund management as well as commercial management business in China.
Prior to this role, Tze Shyang served successively as Chief Investment Officer and CEO, Investment & Portfolio Management for the CapitaLand Group’s China business from 2015 to 2021, where he led a series of major investments that significantly expanded CapitaLand’s interests in the country. He was concurrently Regional General Manager, West China from 2015 to 2018 and oversaw residential and integrated developments in the region.
Prior to joining CapitaLand, Tze Shyang was CEO of CapitaLand Township (formerly known as Surbana Land) from 2010 and took on the additional role of City General Manager for Chengdu from 2013. He has 25 years of experience in real estate across Singapore and China.
Tze Shyang holds a Master of Engineering (First Class Honours) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London, United Kingdom. He obtained an Executive MBA with Honours from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Weijia Wang is a Fund Manager for CBRE Investment Management’s RMB Logistics Programs based in Shanghai. She has 17 years’ experience in real estate strategy, investment and fund management. Prior to 2018 when she was appointed to her current role, Weijia spent 5 years with CBREIM indirect in London where she assisted the Global CIO to formulate investment strategies and oversaw the investment process for over USD 20bn investments into funds, JVs and programmatic ventures before she became a global portfolio manager. Prior to joining CBREIM, Weijia worked in the global research and strategy team in M&G Real Estate, formerly known as PRUPIM, the property arm of the Prudential Group where she provided strategic advisory to life funds, pension funds, institutional and retails funds’ property portfolio across the M&G business for 5 years.
Weijia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from University College London, University of London and a Masters in Real Estate Investment from Cass Business School. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
Mr. Ren Yuan currently serves as the Deputy General Manager of the Investment Banking Department at Shenzhen Branch, China Merchants Bank.
After graduating from Wuhan University with a master’s degree, Mr. Ren joined the Bank and has successively held positions in key departments including Nanshan Sub-branch of Shenzhen Branch, Investment Banking Department of Shenzhen Branch, Asset Management Department of the Head Office, and General Office of the Head Office, accumulating extensive commercial banking experience and rich project experience.
During his tenure at the Investment Banking Department of Shenzhen Branch, Mr. Ren has led a series of merger and acquisition (M&A) loan projects, including but not limited to: PICC Fund’s acquisition of Cainiao Group’s logistics warehouses, China Life Fund’s acquisition of Cainiao Group’s warehousing and logistics asset portfolio, China Post Insurance’s joint acquisition of Shanghai Bohua Plaza with Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), Yinli Publicly Offered REITs, China Resources Publicly Offered REITs, China Resources Land Limited Shopping Mall Pre-REITs, and Baowan Logistics Pre-REITs.
Mr. Eddie Han, is an executive director and Head of real estate investment department of China Pacific Insurance Capital, he is responsible for the management of
new infrastructure and real estate investment.
Mr. Eddie Han has been engaged in financial investment management for a long time. He has 14 years of real estate investment experience and holds a master's
degree in economics from Shanghai Jiaotong University.
In January 2023, Lisi XU joined China Post Life Insurance Co., Ltd. as the General Manager of the Real Estate Investment Department. During the two years at China Post Insurance, Lisi XU has led investments in several real estate projects, with a total investment exceeding 10 billion yuan, covering sectors such as office space, logistics, and consumer infrastructure. Lisi XU has extensive experience in the alternative asset allocation of real estate and infrastructure. Additionally, Lisi XU currently serves as a member of the Real Estate Investment Professional Committee of the China Insurance Asset Management Association
Ms. Jia currently serves as Deputy Head of the Fixed Income Group of CICC Investment Banking Department, leading the securitization and REITs team.
She has deep expertise in the field of debt and structured financing, with more than 18 years of experience in capital market.
Ms. Jia holds a Master of Business Administration from CEIBS.
Stephen is responsible for the Gaolu Group’s capital partnerships, funds management and strategic development. He has over 18 years of experience in investment and corporate strategy, and was most recently the Head of Funds Management, North Asia for LOGOS. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Arts dual-degree from the University of Melbourne and an MBA from IE Business School.
Mr. Zhou Yisheng serves as Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Gohigh Capital. Concurrently, he holds the positions of Deputy Director of the Real Estate Finance Research Center at Tsinghua University’s PBC School of Finance, and Affiliated Professor at NYU Shanghai.
In addition, he acts as Expert Advisor to the Asset Securitization Professional Committee of the Asset Management Association of China, Vice Chairman of the Long-term Rental Apartment Association under the China Real Estate Association, and Committee Member of the Real Estate Committee at the Insurance Asset Management Association of China.
Prior to his current roles, Mr. Zhou was affiliated with the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs Group and Warburg Pincus LLC, among other leading financial institutions. A rare standout in China’s real estate finance sector, he distinguished himself through a robust track record spanning industry practice, academic scholarship, and policy counsel. He has played an instrumental role in shaping policy frameworks and advancing market development for public REITs, private REITs, and CMBS in China—leading the country’s inaugural CMBS transaction and providing advisory support for the listing of China’s first cohort of public REITs.
Mr. Zhou is the author of authoritative publications including CMBS: International Experience and Chinese Practice and Building a Grand Cycle of Real Estate Finance: The Practice and Future Direction of China’s Public REITs. His recent research focuses on the cross-border comparison of real estate cycles.
Clare is the Managing Director, Greater China, for IQ-EQ, a global operation specialist that provides investor solutions as well as middle and back-office support to fund managers, asset owners and corporations.
Clare began her career in funds with The Carlyle Group in Washington DC and was responsible for fund operation, investment structuring, internal procedure and investor relations for all European Buyout and Venture funds. After relocating to Hong Kong, she took on the Head of Middle Office role at CDIB Capital, the private equity asset management arm of China Development Industrial Bank. After CDIB, she also gained vast experience in operations, business development, strategic planning and management on the sell side.
Prior to joining IQ-EQ, Clare was an Executive Director for Fosun Group’s real estate arm, where she held various responsibilities over time, including fund management, acquisition, divestment, capital structuring, fundraising and investor relations. After
Fosun, Clare moved from Shanghai to Hong Kong and looked after fundraising activities and investor relations as an Executive Director and Head of Capital Markets for special situation strategies for COS Capital, China Orient Asset Management’s real estate private equity fund manager.
Clare holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentration in Finance and Accounting, cum laude, from Georgetown University and a Master of Science in Finance from George Washington University. She was also an exchange scholar focusing on International Finance and International Marketing at University of Oxford.
Eric Pang heads JLL’s China Capital Market business with his dedicated teams operating across all major China markets. The primary offering of this national platform is to provide locally fluent investment & asset management solutions to Chinese and international investor groups.
Eric is responsible for overseeing the consolidated national Capital Markets business operation and providing transactional and financing advice for all JLL China investment mandates.
Before relocating to China in 2021, Eric spent six years at JLL's EMEA Capital Markets business in London. During this period, he played a pivotal role in JLL's global cross-border capital strategy, successfully cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with prominent Chinese institutions, investors, occupiers, and real estate companies seeking to expand or increase their presence in Europe.
Ryan is a Partner in Technology Consulting at KPMG China, with nearly 20 years of experience in consulting services. He leads KPMG's strategic and digital consulting service in sectors such as construction, real estate, and cultural tourism. He has served as one of the leaders for activities and publications including the "KPMG China Leading Prop Tech 50", the "Age Tech White Paper", and "Digital Cultural & Museum".
Prior to joining KPMG, Ryan worked at a Japanese technology group and a major Chinese internet company, gaining in-depth expertise in both domestic and international technology development and industrial application.
Selena Shi is Head of China at LaSalle Investment Management. Selena joined LaSalle in 2015 and is responsible for the firm’s acquisition and asset management of commercial properties in China. She has over 18 years of experience in the real estate industry and has completed over US$3 billion of investments across residential, industrial, commercial, and multifamily sectors in China and Australia. Prior to LaSalle, Selena held senior investment roles in Beijing and Shanghai. Selena holds a master’s degree in International Laws from the University of International Business and Economics and has been a CFA charter holder since 2011. She is a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) and co-chair of ULI’s Women Leadership Initiative.
Louise Loo is the Head of Asia Economics at Oxford Economics. She leads the firm’s macroeconomic research and forecasting efforts on Greater China.
Prior to joining Oxford Economics, she was a senior economist at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. At Goldman Sachs, she was also a long-term advisor to China Ministry of Finance and the China-based Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) with regards to their sovereign credit ratings.
Louise is a regular contributor to various international financial news outlets and has earned Economics and public policy degrees with Sheffield University and Columbia University.
Disheng Lin is a Managing Director on PJT Park Hill’s real estate team and is based in Hong Kong.
Prior to joining PJT Park Hill, Mr. Lin was a Portfolio Manager at China Life Insurance (Overseas), where he led outbound real assets investments for the firm. Before that, Mr. Lin worked at Townsend Group’s special situations group in the U.S. and Hong Kong, where he focused on global real estate co-investments. Mr. Lin started his career at Swire Properties.
Mr. Lin received a Master in Real Estate from School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University and a Bachelor of Engineering at Tongji University.
