Warren Wan
Head of front office digital products and quantitative strategist
GIC

Warren Wan has spent 20 years in the Asset Management industry, with the last decade in private markets, starting in real estate before expanding into private equity. He has led various digital transformation, analytics, and quantitative initiatives, driving innovation across the investment process.

He currently heads the Quantitative Strategist team in GIC supporting private markets and is part of the senior leadership team in Investment Insights Group. Embedded within the business, his team collaborates closely with investment teams to integrate alternative and conventional data, quantitative methods, and AI into their decision-making. Given his experience, he is also a key member in shaping and developing GIC’s data strategy and analytical platform capabilities.

Previously, Warren was the Principal Data Architect at GIC, where he pioneered the firm’s enterprise data warehouse and led the enterprise search and data visualization strategy.

Warren holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Engineering) from Nanyang Technological University and an MSc in Financial Engineering from the National University of Singapore.

Robert Ciemniak

Robert Ciemniak is the Founder & CEO of a tech startup in AI-powered automation of market research - Robotic Online Intelligence (ROI), helping clients build their ‘armies of robo-analysts’ since 2018.

The technology was originally developed for in-house use at Real Estate Foresight (founded by Robert in 2012), an independent research boutique specializing in China housing markets.

Prior to his ventures, Robert's experience included a 13-year career with Thomson Reuters in two major roles as Global Head of Real Estate Markets (London/Hong Kong) and earlier as Head of Corporate Foresight in Group Strategy in London.

Robert holds a dual MBA degree from London Business School and Columbia Business School in New York, and an MSc from Warsaw School of Economics.  He also holds a chess title International Master (since 1993).

Zak Ungerman

With 20 years’ experience in industrial real estate, Zak leads the fund management business for Emergent Capital Partners, a Southeast Asia focused fund manager, operator and developer. He was formerly a portfolio manager at Prologis, a global REIT, where he was responsible for a USD 1.7 billion portfolio of Asian logistics assets. Zak lives in Singapore and is Chair of the ANREV Technology & Innovation Committee. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University, a JD from Osgoode Hall Law school, and is a CFA charterholder.
