From Uncertainty to Opportunity: Shaping the Next Cycle
ANREV is delighted to announce that registration is now open for its 10th Korea Conference, set for November 20-21. This year's theme, "From Uncertainty to Opportunity: Shaping the Next Cycle," unites Korean institutional investors with global leaders in non-listed real estate.
Join industry experts as they tackle macroeconomic challenges, evolving markets, and strategies for navigating real estate complexities. Highlights include market overviews, thematic sector investing, and Korean LP priorities, with sessions such as:
- Keynote: Global Economic Outlook – Analyzing forces like U.S. trade policies, AI investment cycles, global supply chain shifts, and fiscal sustainability in developed markets.
- Investor Panel: Discussions on the role of real estate in institutional portfolios amidst high-interest rates, valuation pressures, and uncertainty. What keeps investors up at night? Where are the challenges and opportunities?
- Debt Panel: Exploring global markets amid higher interest rates, attractive Asian credit opportunities, and optimal risk-adjusted returns.
- Korea's Local Fund Management Industry: Tracing its evolution, why it lags Asian peers despite Korea's developed status, and future prospects.
- Living & Hospitality Sector: Assessing APAC's living sector state; Korea's potential as the next major multifamily market after Japan; and whether entering Australia or Korea now makes sense, given the sector's infancy and less competitive pricing.
- Platform Investing & Secondaries: Defining platform investing, its differentiation from other asset classes and strategies, and whether it's private equity or real estate. Will secondaries, still a minor share of real estate AUM, become a permanent investor allocation like in private equity?
- Korean LP Panel: Comparing real estate challenges and opportunities to other assets, plus portfolio management strategies. Is credit still the top choice? What's the outlook for Korean LPs?
