Al Rabil is CEO of Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, L.P., a $32+ billion leading alternatives focused platform. As CEO Mr. Rabil sets strategic initiatives and oversees operations and asset management across KA’s investment platforms. 

Prior to ascending to the role of KA’s CEO in 2021, Mr. Rabil launched and co-founded KA’s Real Estate private equity platform in 2007, where he continues to serve as the platform’s CEO. Since that time, KA Real Estate has become a ~$14 billion leading alternatives focused platform and one of the largest owners of Medical Office in the United States. With respect to the Medical Office sector, KA Real Estate is the only real estate private equity platform that has its own exclusive operating platform and an affiliated subsidiary providing consulting services to the Healthcare industry. 
 
Prior to co-founding KA Real Estate, Mr. Rabil served as the Head of Real Estate Banking for the Americas and Europe at UBS. During his tenure there he played a key role in making UBS a market leader in both syndicated debt and large loan CMBS, consummating more than $25 billion in transactions.
Mr. Rabil earned a B.A. cum laude from Yale University in 1985 and an M.B.A. in finance from Columbia University in 1988.
