Review of Investor Reporting Trends 2016

At this briefing, Paul Walters, PwC Hong Kong Partner, will present the key findings of the Review of Investor Reporting Trends 2016 undertaken recently on behalf of ANREV.

This report aims to provide fund managers and investors with insights into the trends in investor reporting practices in Asia and to enable benchmarking of current reporting practices across different geographic regions and fund strategies. As part of the survey, the investor reporting documents of 40 non-listed real estate funds were reviewed, and compared to the detailed requirements of the INREV Guidelines and each other. Private feedback interviews were held with 21 of the 26 participating fund managers, as well as discussions with several investors active in the region to seek their perspectives on where reporting practices should be headed.
