Amelie Delaunay
Senior Director, Research & Professional Standards
ANREV

Amélie Delaunay is the Senior Director of Research and Professional Standards for ANREV, the Asian association for investors in non-listed real estate vehicles where she leads a team of six, responsible for the development and implementation of ANREV’s Research, Market information and Professional Standards programmes in Asia Pacific, including ANREV indices, global surveys and promotion of best practices for the industry. Amélie has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry and a strong real estate consulting background initially with Ernst & Young. She has been based in Asia since 2006. Educated at the Sorbonne in Paris, where she was awarded a post graduate degree in Urban Geography, Town Planning and Real Estate, Amélie also has an Advanced Master's Degree in Urban and Real Estate Management from ESSEC Business School in Paris. Amélie is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Derek Wu
Lead Consultant
AXA Climate

Derek works as the Lead Consultant APAC at AXA Climate to bring AXA’s risk expertise onto the topics of climate and nature and advise private markets financial institutions, corporates and non-profits in the APAC region. At AXA Climate, we aim to utilise our insurer DNA and scientific expertise to enable climate-resilient and regenerative businesses.

Derek has supported clients to navigate the increasing scrutiny and uncertainty posed by climate change, including climate and nature risk assessments and due diligences, fund/ portfolio companies' climate and net-zero strategy development and ESG training and engagements. He is also experienced in working with the real estate sector across APAC from a strategy and risk management lens across the ESG spectrum. Prior to AXA Climate, Derek worked at a global sustainability strategy and insights consultancy advising management and operational teams on regional ESG trends and opportunities. He has an environmental management background and is based in Hong Kong.

Outside of work, he is an avid scuba-diver and mountain climber, which you will find him either out in the wild or planning for his next big expedition.

Emma Larsson
Senior Director, Operations & Group ESG Officer
ESR

Emma Larsson is Senior Director, Operations & Group ESG Officer at ESR Group, Asia-Pacific’s leading New Economy real asset manager and one of the largest listed real estate investment managers globally. Emma has 23 years of work experience across Europe and Asia Pacific in financial services and real estate, including over 17 years’ tenure at ESR.

In 2018, her role expanded into ESG and Emma has since successfully established the Group’s comprehensive ESG program. Currently based in Singapore, her responsibilities include integrating sustainability into ESR’s core business strategy, overseeing initiatives that ensure ESR operates in an environmentally responsible and socially conscious manner through its purpose – Space and Investment Solutions for a Sustainable Future. She is also a member of the Group’s ESG Committee.

Prior to joining the company in 2007 (formerly The Redwood Group), Emma started out her career at Agilent Technologies in Barcelona. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) and is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Swedish.

Charmaine Cheuk
Managing Director, Asia Pacific Portfolio Management

Charmaine Cheuk is a Managing Director at Greystar Asia Pacific and is responsible for portfolio management activities across the APAC region.

Charmaine has over 25 years of professional experience in real estate across US and Asian markets, including more than 15 years in asset management, portfolio management and fund operations roles for pan-Asian private equity real estate products. During this time, Charmaine oversaw a series of value-add discretionary funds investing across Asian gateway cities totaling $1.7 billion in equity commitments, a discretionary fund investing in retail assets across Asia totaling $600 million in equity commitments, and the Asian sub-portfolio of a non-discretionary separate account totaling €500 million in equity commitments.

Prior to joining Greystar, she served as Managing Director, North Asia at CohnReznick Hong Kong Limited. She previously held senior roles at AEW, CBRE/CBRE Global Investors and Lehman Brothers. Charmaine received a M.S. degree in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and HK University of Science & Technology, and a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of California Berkeley. She is fluent in English, Chinese and Japanese.

Brendon Nell
Chief of Staff & Commercial Manager
Intensel

Brendon is the Chief of Staff at Intensel, an institutional software firm that assesses the financial and operational risks of climate change for assets, buildings, and companies globally. He works with senior leadership to drive strategic decision-making, coordinate key activities, and maintain effective communication. Overseeing day-to-day operations, Brendon ensures productivity, drives business growth, and manages financial operations.

After transitioning his career to Hong Kong, he initially focused on how technology could drive real estate performance within ESG frameworks. Recognizing the unpriced risks of climate change, he sought to quantify these impacts for businesses, leading him to join Intensel in its mission to offer world-class solutions that help companies adapt and build resilience.

Brendon holds two finance degrees and a FMVA certification. Outside of work you will find him on the sports field playing Premiership Rugby in Hong Kong.

Ali Ingram
Head of Sustainability, Capital Markets – EMEA & APAC
JLL

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Ms Ingram joined JLL’s Asia Pacific capital markets team based out of Hong Kong in 2013 and has since worked in numerous locations including Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo and Europe. She joined the European Capital Markets team in 2017, with a focus on both the Office and Life Sciences sector across Europe. She worked on a number of notable European portfolio transactions during her time including the acquisition of Kadans Science Partners Life Sciences portfolio on behalf of AXA from Oaktree.

In January 2022, she took on the new role as Head of Sustainability for European capital markets in 2022 whereby she is sector agnostic and focused on helping clients integrate ESG into investment processes to maximise value and liquidity.

She recently moved back to the APAC region basing herself out of Australia to expand her European role and drive sustainability across the APAC Capital Markets team. She will work on embedding ESG across JLL’s Capital Markets teams and helping core clients develop and execute investment centric sustainability strategies.

Tan Szue Hann
Head of Sustainability, Real Estate
Keppel Ltd.

Mr Tan Szue Hann, MBA is an award-winning architect, sustainability professional and strategist in sustainable development. Hann is Head of Sustainability and Deputy General Manager, Sustainable Urban Renewal at Keppel Land. He is also the Chairman of Sustainability at the Singapore Institute of Architects, the professional body for Architects in Singapore, and a member of the Integrated Development Committee at the Urban Land Institute. He has also been Director of Sustainability Development and Engineering at Marina Bay Sands, Managing Director of Miniwiz, and Head of Sustainability at Surbana Jurong. Hann graduated with an M Arch and BA Arch (First Class Honours) from NUS, with a visiting fellowship to UCLA in 2007, and obtained an MBA with Distinction in 2022.

Hann is also an appointed World Cities Summit Young Leader, and BCA Built Environment Young Leader, and was Singapore’s 2015-16 BCA-SGBC Young Green Architect of the Year. As a thought leader in ESG, he has spoken in numerous conferences including SWITCH, the UN Asia Pacific Urban Forum, and COP25 in Madrid. In 2021, he co-founded IxSA (Innovation x Sustainability Alliance), a global non-profit think tank with sustainability leaders, with the goal of creating and perpetuating a manifesto for good sustainability practices. His key skills are in stakeholder alignment in ESG, and translating sustainability goals into business value.

Erika Rodriguez
Head of Sustainability - APAC
KKR

Erika is based in Hong Kong. She serves as KKR’s Sustainability Lead across its investment portfolio for all strategies in the Asia Pacific region. She supports the integration of material environmental, social, and governance considerations throughout the lifecycle of a deal to manage risks, seize opportunities, and align stakeholder expectations. Erika also aids KKR’s efforts in investing in solutions through thematic and impact investing, working with portfolio companies to strengthen sustainability performance, drive value, and advance transparency through disclosures and industry collaboration.

Prior to joining KKR, she was the Group ESG Director for FWD Group, a Pan-Asian insurance company based in Hong Kong, where she helped develop their sustainability-related initiatives. Erika has a diverse set of sustainability-focused experiences, including roles at ERM, Patagonia, International Flavors & Fragrances, PVH Corp., and Eileen Fisher. She also brings strong exposure to relevant NGOs and standard-setting bodies such as Carbonfund.org, the Wildlife Conservation Society, and the US Green Building Council.

Erika holds a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy (MPA ESP) from Columbia University. Born and raised in the Philippines, Erika has lived and worked for multinational companies headquartered in Washington, D.C., New York, California, London, Manila, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.

Mona Benisi
Executive Director, Head of Sustainability for Global Real Assets
Morgan Stanley

Mona Benisi is Executive Director, Head of Sustainability for Global Real Assets. Mona works alongside the private Infrastructure and Real Estate (Equity and Debt) investment teams to develop and execute sustainability strategies across North America, Europe and Asia.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2020, Mona was the Global Head of Sustainability for Simon Property Group and a member of the Corporate Sustainability Office at Siemens Corporation in Munich, Germany. Mona has also held roles with the Environmental Defense Fund and Columbia University’s Earth Institute. Mona previously served as the Chair of NAREIM’s Sustainability Committee and the Chair of NAREIT’s Real Estate Sustainability Council. She has been recognized for her leadership in the field as an honoree on Crain’s New York Notable Leaders in Sustainability list in 2024, as a winner of the Women in Sustainability Leadership Award in 2021, and as the recipient of Environmental Leader’s “Person of the Year” Award in 2018.

Mona received a B.A. in International Business from Georg-Simon-Ohm University in Nuremberg, Germany and a M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University in New York City.

Mark Cameron
Head of Sustainability – APAC
Nuveen

Mark is Head of Sustainability, Asia Pacific at Nuveen Real Estate. Based in Hong Kong, he is responsible for the implementation of the firms’ Tomorrow’s World strategy, integrating climate risk in the investment process and delivering on Nuveen’s 2040 Net Zero Carbon commitment for the region. Mark is a member of the Nuveen Real Estate’s Asia Pacific Investment Committee.

Jenny Cheung
Head of Sustainability and Investor Relations Director
Phoenix Property Investors

Ms. Cheung is responsible for marketing Phoenix’s investment services, developing and maintain client and consultant relationships. She led the taskforce to drive sustainable development and ESG initiatives across the APAC platform, with a priority on decarbonization, diversity, and ensuring adoption of transparent and accountable governance frameworks such as GRESB and UNSDG.

She previously held the role of Head of Asset Management and managed Phoenix’s Pan-Asia residential portfolio with a Gross Asset Value of over US$2 billion. She and her team worked closely with Phoenix’s project management team to bring the best practices to the APAC assets portfolio with considerations on sustainable design, community engagement and transparency, as well as pursuing market-leading environmental certifications.

Prior to joining Phoenix, Ms. Cheung served in various positions at Swire Properties and Sino Group, accumulating over 20 years of experience in large-scale and luxury residential and multifamily portfolios across Asia Pacific.

Claire Thielke
Chief investment officer, Asia
Prologis

Claire Cormier Thielke, chief investment officer, Asia, oversees strategy and execution of deployment in Asia, including M&A activities and the securing of domestic and cross-border capital for operations across the region.

Prior to joining Prologis in 2023, Ms. Thielke served as a founding officer of Hines Asia Pacific and country head of greater China. Prior to that, she was the chief operating officer for Hines Investment Management where she was responsible for strategy and funding formation for vehicles across the firm’s 27 countries. Ms. Thielke has a distinguished background as a developer and global investment manager, with significant experience in Asia.

Ms. Thielke is a Young Global Leader delegate to the World Economic Forum, an independent director of Zillow and an instructor at Stanford. Ms. Thielke holds a degree of engineering with a concentration in sustainable construction management, a master of science in civil engineering and a bachelor of arts in urban planning from Stanford University.

Jose Moreno

With over eight years of experience in operations, manufacturing, and customer success, Jose is a passionate and multi-disciplined professional who leads the APAC office of Spare-it, a PropTech and sustainability company with the mission of accelerating the zero-waste-to-landfill movement, working with organizations to help divert waste from landfill and reduce waste.

As General Manager, we have partnered with key Property Developers and Multinational Companies to replace their dumpster data with precise in-building waste data at the building, floor, and even bin level. We have helped organisations move beyond messy, limited audits to scalable, clean data insights using computer vision and AI. We have enabled our customers to use data to transform their goals into tangible, attainable, and motivating outcomes for everyone in their organisation.

Jose’s multicultural and multi-industry experience enables him to think strategically and influence colleagues and clients from different technical and C-level backgrounds. Jose has a strong track record of delivering results, collaborating with partners, and driving innovation in the PropTechand sustainability sectors.

Jose holds an MBA from HKU Business School, a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, and a Six Sigma certification. He is also fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese and has intermediate proficiency in French and Mandarin.

Ariel Shtarkman

Ariel Shtarkman is a co-Founder and Managing Partner of Undivided Ventures, VC
platform investing in early-stage technology companies which have identified a pathway to a more sustainable future for the built environment - real estate, infrastructure and cities. She is also the Founder of Orca Capital Limited, single family office focusing on real estate and technology.


Previously, Ariel was with Citibank Real Estate Structured Finance in Hong Kong, where she structured debt instruments for real estate developers, REITs and private equity funds. Before joining Citibank, she worked in real estate private equity funds sponsored by ING Clarion in New York (covering US) and ING Real Estate Investment Management in Hong Kong (covering Asia).


Ariel holds an MBA from Columbia Business School with concentration in Real Estate, and BSc from Tel Aviv University with double major in Computer Science and Business Administration. She serves as Urban Land Institute (ULI) Global Governing Trustee and as Vice Chair of ULI Hong Kong Executive Committee. Ariel is fluent in English, Hebrew and Russian, and conversant in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. Her other interests include martial arts, integration of technology and real estate, and the future of
education.

Wong Kam-sing
Chairman
Wu Zhi Qiao (Bridge to China) Charitable Foundation

Professor Wong Kam-sing, GBS, JP, was the Secretary for the Environment, Hong Kong SAR Government, in 2012-2022.  During his ten-year ministerial service, he spearheaded a series of sustainability policy blueprints on climate action, energy saving for the built environment, air quality, popularization of electric vehicles, waste management, and biodiversity, leading Hong Kong towards carbon neutrality before 2050.

Professor Wong is currently Distinguished Department of Architecture Fellow at The University of Hong Kong and Honorary Professor at Hong Kong Chu Hai College.  He also serves as Chairman of  Wu Zhi Qiao (Bridge to China) Charitable Foundation, which contributes to rural revitalization in both mainland China and Hong Kong  and integrates youth development and low-carbon transformation.

Since the 1990s, he has become a registered architect and developed expertise on sustainable architecture and research. He volunteered in community service as the Founder Chairman of the Environment and Sustainable Development Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects, Chairman of the Professional Green Building Council, Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Green Building Council, etc.
