Charles Haase

Charles Haase is Chief Executive of ANREV, the Asian Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles. ANREV is a member driven non-profit organization producing research and indices relevant to the private real estate industry in Asia Pacific, and promoting improved transparency and best practices across the region.

Prior to joining ANREV, Charlie had experience on both sides of the investment table, working for Aetos Japan and Tokyu Fudosan Holdings Corporation in Tokyo, and for the California State Teachers’ Retirement System in the United States. Prior to joining CalSTRS, Charlie was on the Economics faculty of San Francisco State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Davis.

Hanna Safdar

Ms. Safdar is an Associate Director and Head of Research and Strategy for AEW’s Asia Pacific Region where she supports both the direct and indirect Investment teams in the region. She has over ten years of real estate experience which she relies on to provide research and strategy support for all new and existing property investments.  Ms. Safdar joined AEW in 2018 from Cambridge Associates, where she conducted fund manager research and due diligence projects across Asia Pacific’s real estate and infrastructure managers.  Prior to that, she also held a research position at DTZ in Singapore. Bastian Wolff

Bastian Wolff is a Founding Partner at Aquilius Investment Partners, a specialized provider of secondaries solutions in Asia Pacific. Mr. Wolff has a long career in real estate investing in the region and deployed over US$2 billion in secondaries since 2007. Prior to Aquilius, he worked at Partners Group for 15 years where he was the Head of Private Real Estate in Asia based in Singapore, serving on the firm’s real estate investment committee since 2012. Mr. Wolff holds a Master of Science degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, USA and a Master of Science degree in business administration from Justus Liebig University, Germany.

Richard Banjo

Mr. Banjo is a Co-President and one of the founders of Artemis. Mr. Banjo has more than 23 years of experience in real estate principal investing and corporate finance. He is co-chair of the firm’s investment committee and leads the acquisitions and asset management group. In this capacity, he is responsible for developing and implementing the investment strategies for the firm’s various investment vehicles. Mr. Banjo joined at the inception of Artemis in 2009, and in 2014 he relocated to Los Angeles to lead the firm’s West Coast office.

Prior to Artemis, Mr. Banjo served in a variety of roles at the J.E. Robert Companies (“JER”), including as a Director in JER's real estate private equity fund business. In his capacity as Director, Mr. Banjo was responsible for the evaluation, acquisition, and asset management of new investments in the U.S. During his tenure with JER, he managed/co-managed the acquisition of over $2 billion of new investments. Prior to JER, Mr. Banjo worked for Arthur Andersen in its real estate corporate finance group.

Mr. Banjo earned a BBA, with concentrations in finance and real estate, from the University of Michigan. He currently serves as a real estate cabinet member for Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles and is an active member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO)."

Chris Liu

Chris is a Principal in CPP Investments’ Credit Investments department, based in Hong Kong.  He focuses on sourcing, evaluating and managing credit investments across the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2017, Chris worked for Moelis in Hong Kong, advising clients on M&A and credit restructuring mandates. He started his career in Toronto with BAML.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen’s University.

Greg Vinson

Greg Vinson joined EQT Exeter in November 2019 as Portfolio Manager for the firm's European industrial core funds. He has over 15 years of experience investing in the logistics sector.

Prior to joining EQT Exeter, Mr. Vinson served as Senior Director of Clarion Gramercy where he was responsible for sourcing, negotiating and closing logistics investments throughout Europe. Previously, Mr. Vinson was based in the US where he managed European and US transactions for Gramercy Property Trust and CBRE Global Investors.

Tim Jowett

Tim Jowett joined Hines in June 2023 as Managing Director, Head of Asia Pacific Research. He brings with him 20 years’ experience in global real estate investment management and has been based in Asia for the last 12 years, focusing on Asia Pacific private real estate markets. Prior to Hines, he spent 7 years in leadership roles at Grosvenor Asia, a private balance sheet investor, as Director of Investment Strategy and Analysis and as Managing Director, Head of China, during which time he sat on the Board. Prior to this, he led or worked for research and strategy teams based in Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi, and London for global investment managers, Heitman and JP Morgan Asset Management, and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority .

Tim holds a BA and MA in History from King’s College London, and a Diploma in Financial Strategy from Said Business School, University of Oxford.

Leo Kwon

Leo is the Head of Global Platform Investment Team 1 at IGIS Asset Management, where he supports global institutional investors in achieving their diverse capital allocation goals. He actively manages IGIS's existing investment platforms, including the Korea Data Center Investment Platform and Korea Logistics Investment Platform, and engages in the development of real estate investment strategies. Prior to IGIS Asset Management Leo spent a decade in the real estate private equity industry executing acquisitions, dispositions, and operational activities across a variety of alternative real estate sectors. Leo holds a bachelor of science in economics from the Emory University.

Michael Ramm

Michael Ramm, Managing Director, is a German citizen with 28 years of experience in the real estate industry. Michael is based in Frankfurt and serves as Group Head and Chief Investment Officer for the Real Estate Europe Group for J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s Global Alternatives business. Michael has acquired assets across Europe within the office, industrial, residential and retail sectors and had been instrumental in all our European products over the past nearly 20 years. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Asset Management in July 2005, Michael was an Investment Manager at AIG Global Real Estate and managed investments on behalf of AIG’s European Opportunistic Property Fund.  Prior to that Michael held various roles at JLL and JLL Corporate Finance in Paris, Warsaw, Moscow and London (1997 - 2002). Galen Lee

Mr Galen Lee is the Chief Executive Officer of Real Estate & Data Centre Funds and he leads the fund management initiatives to further strengthen Keppel’s capability in the private funds space for these sectors.

Galen has over 24 years of real estate investment, origination and structuring experience across various asset classes, and has been involved in the establishment of real estate joint ventures, real estate investment trusts, debt advisory, investment banking and corporate mergers and acquisitions in Asia and Europe. Prior to joining Keppel, he was the Executive Vice President and Head of Capital Markets for City Developments Limited, responsible for developing its funds management and Profit Participation Securities platform by structuring more than $2 billion worth of real estate deals.
Prior to this, Galen was the head of South East Asia real estate investment banking at UBS and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and has covered the real estate sector at Macquarie Capital Advisors, Wachovia Real Estate Asia, DBS and Goldman Sachs.

David White

David White is a Managing Director in the LaSalle Debt Investments team, serving as the President of the LaSalle Real Estate Debt Strategies (LREDS) series.

David has an extensive track record of working in real estate private equity and debt investment. He has extensive experience lending throughout the capital structure and in real estate debt investments, including mezzanine and whole loans, as well as direct real estate investments, distressed credit, and restructuring.

Prior to joining LaSalle, David was a Partner at Intriva Capital Advisors LLP, where he was based in London as a member of the Investment Committee and oversaw the investment team.  He was engaged in raising Fund II while overseeing c, €200 million of Pan-European investments across two funds.  Prior to joining Intriva, David was a founding Partner at Tyndaris Real Estate, an alternative lending platform based in London and focused on both opportunistic and secured income on a pan-European basis. At Tyndaris Real Estate, David oversaw the build-out of the firm and the team and helped build the capital base from scratch to €1.6 billion in assets under management, deploying capital in senior loans, mezzanine and preferred equity, equity and CMBS purchases. He also sat on the investment committee and oversaw all aspects of reporting, asset management, workout and restructuring efforts. David's track record includes more than 40 loans including Office transactions of c. €400 million, Residential transactions of c. €200 million, and Industrial and logistics transactions of c. €200 million. All investments have performed to business plan or outperformed. David started his career at Deutsche Bank in the Real Estate Special Situations Group where he focused on direct lending, distressed investing and purchasing non-performing loan pools.  He worked in London, Hong Kong and New York during his time at Deutsche Bank. David began his career in real estate private equity and debt investments in 2007.

David has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a minor in Business and East Asia Studies. He also spent a year studying Management with a focus on Economics and Finance at the London School of Economics.  He has been living and working in London since 2007.

James Kemp
Senior Managing Director, Head of Asia-Pacific Real Estate

James is Head of Real Estate for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) for the Asia-Pacific region.

He is Chairperson of the Global Investment Committee for MAM’s Opportunistic fund series (Macquarie Real Estate Partners), a member of the Investment Committee for MAM’s Specialised Accommodation Solutions Fund, and a member of the Global Real Estate Management Committee.

James has more than 17 years of experience in real estate private equity and investment banking across Asia-Pacific and has overseen many of Macquarie’s opportunistic real estate investments. This includes investments in real estate operating platforms such as Goodman Group, Greystar Asia, Charter Hall, and LOGOS Property Group.

In his role, James oversees all investment across Asia-Pacific and has sat on numerous boards of operating portfolio companies. He is currently a board member of: Asia-Pacific logistics group, Unified Industrial, Australian build-to-rent platform, Local, ANZ residential and retirement developer, Winton and MAM’s Australian land lease communities business.

James holds a Bachelor of Finance and Bachelor of Commerce (1st Class Honours & University Medal) and a Master of Finance (INSEAD).

Sean K. Lee

Mr Sean K.(Seung Kul) Lee is a Senior Managing Director and Head of the Alternative Investment Division at KIC. In this role, he oversees Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Absolute Return group which covers Hedge fund and private Credit, totaling over US$60 billion of assets under management. He joined KIC in 2010 and held a variety of investment and strategic roles. His previous responsibilities in KIC include head of Investment Strategy & Innovation Division and head of Real Estate Group.


Mr. Lee has over 23 years of experience related to infrastructure, real estate, fixed income, and asset allocation. Prior to joining KIC, he was head of product development team for IBK - Société Générale asset management where he initiated and launched various global products such as Market neutral strategy, India Infrastructure and Gold Mining equity fund. Previously he spent over 6 years in Investment Banking at Samsung Group.
Mr. Lee holds LL.B. degree from Sungkyunkwan University in Korea, Master’s degree in finance from Michigan State University and Master’s degree in real estate from National University of Singapore.

Kenny Lam

Kenny Lam, Chief Investment Officer and Head of Transactions, Real Estate Equity, Asia Pacific, Manulife Investment Management Kenny is responsible for real estate investment activities in Asia Pacific, expanding the platform's geographical footprint in the region, managing Manulife Investment Management’s real estate portfolio, identifying and investing in new real estate investment opportunities. Kenny first joined Manulife in 2017 as Head of Asia Real Estate Investments, after which he took on the role of Chief Investment Officer (Strategic Investment) at Link REIT in 2022.  Prior to joining Manulife, Kenny was the Chief Manager at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority responsible for the investment and management of the global real estate portfolio.  Kenny has also held roles in Shanghai, Hong Kong and New York at Ping An Real Estate where he was the Executive Director, Strategic and Overseas Investment, J.P. Morgan Asset Management where he was the Vice President of Acquisitions, Global Real Assets Asia and Citigroup Global Markets where he was a real estate investment banking associate.  Kenny holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors), majoring in Civil and Structural Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Master of Business Administration, majoring in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Gabriella Woo

She also served as a Senior Associate at USAA Real Estate Company.

With 15 years of experience in the real estate industry, Gabriella specializes in real estate capital raising and business development. Based in Singapore, she continues to drive capital raising initiatives and strategic growth for the firm.

Jun Hyeok Jang

Junhyeok Jang has accumulated 10 years of experience in deal sourcing, investing, and managing private alternative markets, with a particular focus on the real estate sector. Junhyeok joined Mocean Capital in November 2022 after working at the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (NACF), a financial institution that supports the Korean agricultural industry. During his tenure at NACF, he was responsible for global and domestic real estate investments, encompassingdebt, equity, commingled funds, and co-investments.

Prior to his role at NACF, Junhyeok worked at the Korea Scientists & Engineers Mutual-aid Association (SEMA), where he focused on global real estate and infrastructure investments, handling various real estate and infrastructure projects, including commingled and project funds. His direct investment experience includes commercial real estate in Europe and Japan, as well as infrastructure assets such as the U.S. airport portfolio .Furthermore, he managed a portfolio comprising both real estate and infrastructure assets.

David J.S. Kim

David J.S. Kim is Head of Real Estate Platform Investment Team at National Pension Service of Korea (“NPS”). His primary responsibilities include real estate GP stake, platform Investments, prop-tech and listed real estate investments. He has 14 years of industry experience and joined NPS in 2015.

Prior to joining NPS, Mr. Kim was a Portfolio Manager for Kyobo Life Insurance with the responsibilities for global equities investment & portfolio management. His responsibility also included strategic and tactical asset allocation, global fixed income portfolio management and financial derivatives trading.

Mr. Kim earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Macquarie University and received a Master’s Degree from Graduate School of Finance, University of New South Wales in Australia.

Jing Zhou
Senior Director, Alternatives and Strategic Transactions

Jing is a Senior Director in Alternatives and Strategic Transactions team at Nuveen. She leads the build out of the data centre subsector of Nuveen Real Estate’s alternative portfolio.

Jing joined Nuveen from CBRE where she worked in the Data Centre Solutions team and provided advisory services in the Data Centre sector across APAC region. Prior to that, Jing worked for six years at Digital Realty (NYSE: DLR/S&P 500), where she held several management roles in portfolio asset management team and investment team. She also served as the company’s spokeswomen in Hong Kong. Jing started her real estate career at Eureka Fund Management (now known as AXA IM Australia) in 2006, where she managed the finance function for an AUD $800 million commercial property and hotel fund as part of the company’s AUD $4 billion AUM.

Jing graduated with a Bachelor's of Law from Southwest University of Political Science and Law (China) and a Masters of Professional Accounting from Wollongong University (Australia) and she is a Certified Public Accountant.

Nick Wilson

In this role, he is responsible for researching, forecasting, and analyzing commercial real estate trends across all major markets and sectors in the region. With over 14 years of experience, Nick has honed his skills in data analysis and market research, enabling him to provide clients with comprehensive insights and effective strategies for commercial real estate. His expertise spans direct, indirect, and listed markets, ensuring clients receive well-rounded and informed guidance. PGGM is an active investor through partnerships with strategic and local operating partners globally. PGGM emphasis the importance of ESG factors in its investment processes and strives for investing in solutions for sustainable developments. Peter Lee

Peter Lee is Head of Strategy & Capital Formation, PIMCO Prime Real Estate Asia Pacific, where he leads indirect portfolio management, fund strategy, product development, and capital partnership formation.

Before joining the firm in 2023, Peter was Senior Vice President at the National Pension Service of Korea since 2017, where he led Asia Pacific real estate portfolio management and investment activities across diversified markets, sectors and strategies. Prior to that, he was Fund Manager at Nuveen, responsible for managing core-plus, value-add commingled property funds, and executing balance sheet investments across Asia Pacific real estate, on behalf of TIAA-CREF General Account.

Jayme Han
Head of Asia ex-Japan, Managing Director

Jayme Han, Head of Asia ex-Japan, Managing Director at Pretium Partners, oversees the firm’s Business Development in Asia ex-Japan. Ms. Han plays a pivotal role in driving distribution across the Asia Pacific region, where she is responsible for maintaining and expanding a robust network of managers and investors. She leads fundraising efforts and supports the execution of complex investment opportunities.

With over 26 years of investment management experience, Ms. Han brings extensive expertise to her role. Her career includes significant time with the National Pension Service, one of the world's largest pension funds and a leading international investor. As a founding member of NPS’s alternative investment program, she played a key role in establishing and building out the NPS office in London. Before joining Pretium Partners, Ms. Han served as Executive Director in the Equity Advisory Group at Jones Lang LaSalle and as Head of Alternative Investments at Tong Yang Life Insurance, Korea’s fifth-largest insurer.

Melinda McLaughlin

Melinda McLaughlin, senior vice president, global head of research, is responsible for leading the global research team, she focuses on tracking, analyzing, and forecasting logistics real estate fundamentals and structural industry trends.  Additionally, she is responsible for translating these insights into strategic decision-making for the company. Her other areas of specialization include supply chain reconfiguration, location differentiation and econometric modeling.

Prior to joining Prologis in 2015, Ms. McLaughlin was a vice president at Rosen Consulting Group, a boutique firm that provides economic, housing and commercial real estate strategic consulting services to a diverse roster of clients.

Ms. McLaughlin holds a bachelor of science in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in real estate. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute.

Max Golopol

Max joined QuadReal in July 2018. As Vice President, International Real Estate, Max is primarily responsible for transaction origination, structuring and execution of real estate investments for QuadReal's Asia-Pacific portfolio.

Max was formerly an Associate on QuadReal's International Real Estate team where he was focused on the execution and underwriting of investments across asset classes in Asia-Pacific and the U.S.  Prior to QuadReal, he was an Acquisition Analyst for the Bascom Group, an Irvine, California-based manager investing in multifamily assets across the U.S.

Max holds a Bachelor of Science from University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Master of Business Administration from University of Colorado Boulder.

Max is an employee of QuadReal HK Services Limited, which acts in an advisory capacity to QuadReal Property Group.

Rai Katimansah

Rai Katimansah is based in Singapore and heads up special situations and direct lending at SC Capital Partners, an Asia Pacific real estate investment manager with more than US$7 billion of assets under management and licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Rai has more than 25 years of real estate private equity and direct lending experience, and has completed investments located in major cities in Asia Pacific, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Rai has done more than US$1.5 billion of real estate debt deals in Asia Pacific.

Prior to joining SC Capital Partners, Rai was a partner and portfolio manager at MCIP, a real estate debt fund sponsored by Sun Hung Kai & Co (a Hong Kong-listed company). Rai has a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Pennsylvania

Nick Jacobson

Nick Jacobson is a highly regarded property and finance expert with more than 30 years of industry experience.

Prior to joining Wingate, Nick was the Founder and Managing Director of CapStra, a leading independent Australian real estate financier and advisory firm.

Nick’s experience spans the full range of real estate capital and advisory solutions from financing to deal origination, structuring, development expertise, credit underwriting, and acquisition and divestment services.
