APPROVAL OF MEMBERSHIP
All new memberships are subject to the approval of the Executive Board. Upon approval, membership becomes effective on the date of registration once approved.
ANREV offers two types of membership:
- Full membership is made available to institutional investors, investment banks, fund of funds managers, fund managers, and service providers, such as accountants, lawyers, fund services providers and property consultants.
- Academic membership is available to not-for-profit research institutions, universities and professional bodies with interests in the Asian real estate markets.
All memberships represent a corporate subscription with two designated representatives nominated by the joining corporation.
Only Full members are entitled to vote at general meetings of the Association, but all members are eligible to participate in the proceedings of the Executive Board, the Research, Performance, Professional Standards measurement, Membership and Events Committee, as well as the working groups.
ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION FEES
- Full membership: USD 10,000
- Academic membership: USD 500
Subscriptions are annual and renewed on an anniversary basis.
Once the Board has approved a membership, the applicant will be notified. An invoice will be sent within 30 days. Payment is due and payable in full, within 30 days after of the invoice has been issued.
The invoicing procedure will be on a pro rata basis for the first year of membership. New members would only be able to cancel their membership at the end of the calendar year following the year of admittance as member.
RENEWAL OF MEMBERSHIP
Membership is continued automatically every year unless written termination is received at least four weeks prior to the renewal date.
Members wishing to cancel their subscription should do so in writing at least four weeks prior to their membership renewal date. Subscription fees are non-refundable.
