  Jacqueline Bennett

Jacqueline is a Hong Kong based partner in EY’s International Tax Services practice specializing in advising private equity, real estate and infrastructure funds and investors.
 
Jacqueline has been based in Hong Kong since 2005 and has extensive experience advising real estate and infrastructure funds, sponsors and investors on fund formation and cross border tax structuring of investments in Asia, Europe and Australia.   She has deep knowledge and understanding of the tax considerations throughout the entire lifecycle for private funds gained from nearly 20 years of experience both as an adviser in Melbourne, London and Hong Kong as well as and working in house for a global fund manager in Hong Kong.
 
  Adam Williams

Adam is a Hong Kong based partner in EY's International Tax Services practice focusing on private equity and real estate funds.
 
Adam has extensive experience with deal structuring and due diligence advising on more than 500 M&A transactions across multiple jurisdictions in Asia Pacific (& including U.S. taxation).
 
Adam has significant industry knowledge in relation to all aspects of private equity, infrastructure and real estate funds including fund formation and fund structuring.
 
  Louisa Yeo

Louisa is a partner with the Financial Services Tax group of EY in Singapore, specialising in advising private equity and real estate funds and investors.
 
Louisa has more than 15 years of experience and is actively involved in advising these institutions on cross border tax implications including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, structuring of outbound and inbound investments, set up of fund management operations and transfer pricing. Louisa has a particular focus on working with inbound asset managers in Singapore’s expanding fund management industry, in particular within the real estate and private equity space. 
 
Louisa also has in-house experience for a hedge fund manager, which is a subsidiary of one of the top three investment banks in Korea.

Luke Gannon is a financial services partner in DLA Piper's Corporate Group. He is Head of DLA Piper's Funds and Investment Management Practice - Asia and has specialised in Funds and Regulatory work for 25 years.
 
Based in Hong Kong, Luke advises financial institutions, investment banks, fund managers, sponsors and investors on the establishment of a wide range of investment funds, including real estate funds, club deals, segregated accounts, real estate co-investments and general fundraising. Jiwei Yuan is Tax Controller at PAG (Pacific Alliance Group) based in Hong Kong, overseeing global tax matters of PAG Group and its Private Equity, Absolute Returns and Real Estate Funds. Before joining PAG, Jiwei was the Global Head of Tax for W. P, Carey Inc., a leading global net-lease REIT that provides long-term sale-leaseback and build-to-suit financing solutions for companies worldwide.
 
Jiwei has over 14 years of experience in tax planning, structuring and compliance in global real estate and private equity funds. She has lead deal structuring and tax planning of real estate transactions in more than 25 countries.
 
Jiwei is a Certified Public Accountant in the US and an AICPA Chartered Global Management Accountant.

 

 
Jen Chan

Jen Chan is a Director from Alter Domus, a leading provider of Fund and Corporate Services.  Jen is based in Hong Kong and is focused on client relationships, on-boarding of new clients and product development in Asia Pacific with a specific focus on Greater China.
 Before joining Alter Domus, Jen worked for Blackstone in the Real Estate team for 5 years and was responsible for the accounting, financial reporting and administration for the China, Singapore and India projects under the Blackstone funds.

Prior to that, Jen worked in RREEF for 5 years, RREEF is an alternative investment business unit in Deutsche Bank. Jen also worked in KPMG for more than 3 years where she was in the audit team for financial institutional clients. Jen is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is a member of the ACCA in the UK.
