ANREV Korea Breakfast Briefing

23 Sep 2014 @ Seoul

Global Real Estate- Latest Trend and Opportunity

ANREV was held breakfast briefing in Seoul on 23 September 2014. Around the globe, property fundamentals continue to recover at varying speeds, but construction starts generally under control. Liquidity has begun to return to the sector, but the core/non-core value gap remains wide – opportunities for secondary locations/assets emerging. While the property cycle has largely de-leveraged, pockets of stress/distress remain – different types of opportunities in the US and Europe. In Asia, Tokyo has been the rising star. Just as London benefited disproportionately from the UK economic recovery that started back in the 1980s, Tokyo is well-poised to ride the tailwinds of a newly re- awakened Japanese economy in the coming decade

In this briefing, Ms. Margaret McKnight of Metropolitan will provide an update on the current markets in the US and Europe and Harry Tan of Grosvenor will talk why Tokyo has the potential to become the next London.

We would like to thank Grosvenor for sponsoring the event.
